Designing the path less taken.

My name is Steve Somogyi and this is The Joy Project: my current endeavor into experiential design and a re-approach to lifestyle. I am the steward and creative partner of a 62.5 parcel of woods in Southwest Michigan. The over-arching goal of this property is active and informed stewardship, preservation and exploration. Although the land is privately owned, the ownership has a firm commitment to this. Our vision is to create an environment encourages native flora, insects, birds, fauna and aquatic life to thrive. And we have found that The Joy Project has a miraculous effect on us humans as well.
